What is a Countdown Timer?
A countdown timer displays the time remaining until a future event. This tool updates every second in real time, showing the remaining days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
How to use this tool
- Select a target date and time using the date-time picker
- Click Start
- Watch the countdown update every second
- Click Pause to stop, or Reset to clear
How it works
The tool calculates the difference between the current time and the target time every second using a JavaScript interval. When the countdown reaches zero, it displays “Time’s up!”
